What is Agritourism?

In the Italian mountains—the Alps and Apennines, but also the mountainous areas in the south and in the islands—farms still provide a living while illustrating for their guests the survival strategies of mountain agriculture, livestock grazing and the world of transhumance and mountain pastures. Farms in the mountains offer guests relaxation, of course, but also the chance to go walking or to take on more challenging hikes.
